When do you ship?
We ship once a week, on Tuesdays. Our order deadline for Tuesday shipping is 2:00 pm on Sunday. All orders placed after 2:00 pm on Sunday will be processed for the Tuesday of the following week. All orders are shipped UPS Priority Mail, and will arrive within 1-3 days of shipping.
How fresh will my order be?
Very fresh! Everything is made to order, so all products are baked the day before they are shipped. In other words, all orders are baked Monday and shipped Tuesday. If, for example, you place an order on Monday (meaning your order won’t be shipping until the following Tuesday) we will wait to bake your order until the day before it ships.
How long do your products last?
All our cookies are made to order and have a seven day shelf life. The bourbon pecan pie and sea salt chocolate chess pie will last for up to three weeks in the refrigerator.
What’s the best way to store your products?
Keep the pies refrigerated to keep them fresher for longer. Cookies should be stored in an airtight bag or container after opening.
Can we freeze the pies and cookies?
The bourbon pecan freezes extremely well and can be stored, frozen, for up to 3 months. To freeze the pie, place the box in a freezer bag or airtight container. The sea salt chocolate chess pie can’t be frozen (because of the salt), but will last for up to 3 weeks in the refrigerator. The cookies can be frozen and enjoyed for up to 2 months - and should also be frozen in a freezer bag or tupperware container.
How do we thaw frozen products?
You can thaw frozen cookies by placing them on your kitchen counter and letting them come to room temperature. The bourbon pecan pie should be thawed in the refrigerator.
What do I do if I’m unhappy with my order?
We want all our customers to be happy with their purchase, so let us know if you’re unsatisfied with your order! Please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your shipment, and we’ll be happy to refund or replace items. To receive a refund we will need to have the products returned to us, but, unfortunately, we will be unable to cover the return shipping.
What is your cancellation policy?
All orders placed during the week can be cancelled before 2:00pm on Sundays.
I’m having problems with the postal service - what do I do?
Once your package leaves our kitchen and enters the postal system we no longer have control of them. If you are having problems with your delivery, you will need to contact UPS to resolve the issue.
Do you have a store?
While we don’t have a retail storefront, you can find our products in more than 30 locations in the DC area. Please visit our Locations page to see our full list of retailers and farmers’ markets.
Are all your products and flavors available online?
No, right now we only ship two of our pie flavors and no quiches, but you can find all six cookie flavors in the online store! To receive our full weekly menu, including seasonal flavors, sign up for our Newsletter.
Where can I buy your products?
So many places! We sell to a number of coffee shops, specialty stores, and grocery stores in and around DC. You can also find us at several farmers markets during the year. Check out our Locations page for a full list.
What Farmers’ Markets do you do?

I want to order a pie/quiche/cookies to pick up at the market - how do I do that?
Shoot us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please let us know by 2:00 pm on Thursday what you would like for the coming weekend.
I’m having a wedding/baby shower event - can you provide us with pies?
Yes! Please contact email@example.com for info about special orders.
I have a nut allergy - can I still have your products?
We use nuts in several of our products (like the Nutella cookies and the pecan pies). If you have a severe nut allergy, we recommend that you don’t eat our products because we don’t work in a nut-free facility.
What kind of shortening do you use?
We use vegetarian, zero trans-fat vegetable shortening. We don’t use lard or other animal-based shortenings.
Can you make me a pie that’s not on your menu?
Generally we don’t make custom flavors. However, if you’re ordering a lot of pies we might be able to accommodate you. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for info about special orders.
Can I reheat the pies or quiches?
Yes, although some pies (such as the sea salt chocolate chess or lemon pies) are meant to be enjoyed at room temperature. Please check the label of the pie to see the serving recommendation. If you want to heat up one of our fruit pies or quiches, instructions are below:
From the fridge, heat a 6-inch pie or quiche in a 325 degree oven for 10-15 minutes. You can tell it’s ready when the center is warm. If the crust starts to get too brown, cover the pie or quiche with foil. Large pies and quiches will take between 25-40 minutes. Bake times and temps vary from oven to oven.
From the freezer, a six inch pie or quiche will take between 20 minutes - 40 minutes to reheat at 325 degrees. A large pie or quiche will take between 40 minutes and 1 hour. Bake times and temps vary from oven to oven.
Do you have an email newsletter?
Yes! We have a newsletter that we send out every week that tells you what pie flavors we’re selling online, as well as company news. You can subscribe on the website, or you can sign up right here.

We collect personally identifiable information, like names, postal addresses, email addresses, etc., when voluntarily submitted by our visitors. The information you provide is used to fulfill your specific request. This information is only used to fulfill your specific request, unless you give us permission to use it in another manner, for example to add you to one of our mailing lists.

Cookie and tracking technology are useful for gathering information such as browser type and operating system, tracking the number of visitors to the Site, and understanding how visitors use the Site. Cookies can also help customize the Site for visitors.
