Whisked! is a growing wholesale bakery that distributes to more than 40 stores in the DC area. Our handcrafted pies, cookies, and quiches are a local favorite (we won “Best Bakery” and “Best Trendy Dessert” in the Washington Post Express for the past three years), and our products continue to attract new fans. We have plans to expand in the region, and are seeking team members who will help shape our company as we move forward. You must be team-oriented, comfortable taking initiative, and able to pitch in wherever help is needed. Most importantly, we want you to be excited about growing with us! Production Baker

Whisked! is looking for a production baker to join our team. Candidates must have previous professional baking experience. We are looking for applicants who are responsible, efficient, and have a strong work ethic.

Position duties include:

Baking and packaging finished products.
Prepping produce.
Scaling and mixing doughs and batters.
Scooping cookies/portioning batters.
Rolling pie crusts.
Cleaning (dishes, sweeping, mopping).

We are looking to grow, and the right candidate can grow with us. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Distribution and Operations Manager

We’re looking for a team-oriented, self-starter who loves food, logistics, and is excited to grow with the company. Because we’re a small company, all our team members pitch in wherever we need help and wear several hats. This position requires some regular work on the weekends. You also need to love pie and cookies - a lot.

Duties include:

Distribution and Operations
Set delivery routes
Pack orders
Initially, deliver four times/week
Work with kitchen team to process orders
Optimize efficiency of packing, storing orders, and loading delivery vehicles
Maintain delivery vehicle and recommend when to expand the fleet
Send routes to other drivers and outside delivery services
Receive client orders and create baking schedules

Desired Qualifications:
3 + years experience in the food industry on the specialty retail, logistics, or wholesale side
College degree
Farmer’s market experience a plus
Delivery experience a plus
Spanish is a plus
Safe driving record with a valid license
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Extremely organized and detail oriented
Must pass a background check
